Are you an experienced HR professional ready to make a significant impact? We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable HR Manager for a 6-month interim position to play a pivotal role in this local organisation. As a trusted advisor and recruitment expert, you'll be an integral part of the Senior Management Team, contributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies to support strategic goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead effective HR strategy development and operational planning.
- Oversee and manage all recruitment activities, ensuring a seamless process.
- Deliver an efficient in-house payroll service, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Stay abreast of employment law, providing expert advice and risk analysis.
- Coach and mentor managers on a range of HR issues, fostering a positive workplace.
- Develop and implement a robust staff development plan, promoting growth and inclusion.
- Support the Council in change management and organisational development.
Qualifications and Skills:
A CIPD Level 5 in Human Resource Management or equivalent is essential in this role and you'll also:
- Have an analytical mindset with the ability to navigate complex situations.
- Be resilient and adaptable, thriving in a dynamic work environment.
- Have a coaching approach to support managers in all people management activities.
- Be effective at building positive and trusting relationships.
- Be flexible and self-motivated, identifying opportunities for development.
