Job Title - HR Business Partner
Location - Kent
Salary - Up to 60,000
This Main Contractor are currently looking for a HR Business Partner to join their Human Resources Team on a 8+ week cover.
HR Business Partnering
- Demonstrate role modelling of, and be Ambassador for, HR Business partnering across your areas
- Develop a thorough understanding of how the projects are commercially viable and add value through people related activities
- Develop robust relationships with managers, and gain their respect in order to be able to influence decision making
- Prepare respective KPI report on a monthly basis
Resourcing & Talent
- Support the Group HR Manager & Group Resourcing manager with resource forecasting for your dedicated areas with a focus on onboarding to minimise unhealthy turnover
- Support the future skills teams on ensuring our future skill shave robust plans
High Performance Culture
- Manage employee relations matters effectively to promote a high performance culture
- Support Group HR Manager in execute all annual events effectively to promote performance related remuneration.
Safe, Well & Highly Engaged Teams
- Effectively champion the engagement survey and outputs to leverage engagement levels across the Sectors and CS functions and work with areas which require intervention
- Manage absence levels and trends effectively
Develop Excellent Leaders and Multiple Career Tracks
- Drive project talent review process, and work with ops teams to ensure succession plan in place for key roles
- Ensure that talent is identified and developed
- Ensure that via the appraisal/Talent Review process, all people in agreed employee groups have current goals/objectives, against which individual performance accountabilities are measured.
Leadership in People Development
- Contribute towards L&D plans where relevant
- Support with the growth, succession and career plans for the organisation
Experience and skills required:
- Proven delivery in the key areas of Generalist HR
- Experience in coaching line managers through people matters
- A thorough and up to date knowledge of employment law, and experience of practical application of this in a complex business environment.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Track record of building credible relationships.
- Resilient - able to face challenges proactively and comfortable dealing with senior management of the organisation.
- Able to work as part of a team; demonstrates the ability to network effectively up, down and across the business.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the right balance of empathy, rigour and energy.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills, as well as first class presentation ability.
- MCIPD qualified
