Roles And Responsibilities
As a Project Manager at the organsation, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of deep drainage projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Strategizing, planning, and executing deep drainage projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Developing and maintaining project timelines, incorporating effective planning and scheduling to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols by reviewing and implementing documentation and procedures.
- Identifying and addressing engineering discrepancies, applying a comprehensive understanding of deep drainage systems and associated technologies.
- Efficiently organizing and deploying resources, including labor, plant, materials, and subcontractors to optimize project performance.
- Meeting budgetary objectives by closely monitoring project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and making informed decisions.
- Upholding quality standards in project execution, overseeing the implementation of method statements and risk assessments to mitigate potential issues.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in deep drainage at a minimum depth of 7 meters.
- Experience with NEC4 Contracts.
- Knowledge of Temporary Works and Lift Plans.
- HND/HNC in Project Management or Equivalent - desirable.
- Competence with MS Project.
- CSCS Gold Card.
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
