Head of People - Legal Analytics - FMCG - HR - London/Hybrid - 650- 750 pd

Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Lead on the overall strategy and development of the people analytics capability
  • Act as the main point of stakeholder engagement to enable effective partnership between Digital and HR in building out the people analytics capability (Including C-suite and Director Engagement)
  • Partner with the business/HR to ensure continued understanding of key business and user needs related to people analytics including success measures
  • Help develop and end to end strategy to meet business and user needs related to people analytics including product strategy, data management, data literacy and performance management
  • Ensure strategy is aligned with broader company goals and corporate functions strategy

Design & Delivery

  • Work with your team to design innovative and simple data & insights products that provide business value
  • Work with your team to design products that provide a great user experience and align with the broader design standards
  • Work with your team to build descriptive, predictive and AI based capabilities into the data product offering
  • Work with your team to design the right data architecture and management approach to enable automated operations, data security and optimised technology cost
  • Work with HR to help drive increased data literacy levels in the HR population and drive adoption and use of people data in the HR operating and performance model
  • Provide overall delivery support for your team helping them prioritise backlogs and roadmaps as well as resolve critical blockers/issues
  • Work with portfolio management and finance teams to ensure effective budget and risk management
  • Work with your team to deliver on external/regulatory reporting including Annual Report

People & Team Management

  • Act as the main lead across your team to create a culture of trust and accountability that will enable high performance
  • Help the team optimise it's ways of working through an agile delivery model
  • Help coach team members to upskill them and grow their careers
  • Alongside leadership act as a people manager to help support people in their careers and ensure positive team wellbeing

Key skills and experience

  • Proven experience in leading a people analytics capability
  • Proven experience and strong proficiency in product management and agile delivery
  • Proven experience in data analytics including descriptive and predictive capabilities
  • Strong communicator with the ability to convey complex problems and insights to diverse audiences
  • Strategic mindset with strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
