Are you a Financial Controller/Head of Finance who is available at short notice to take up a 6-month fixed term contract to permanent opportunity?
Transparent is proud to support this unique business in the recruitment of a Head of Finance to manage the Finance Department within a group of companies.
This role would suit a highly analytical individual with a solid understanding of financial management and accounting.

This role would suit a highly analytical individual with a solid understanding of financial management and accounting.
Main Duties
- Managing the Finance Department within a group of companies
- Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions
- Ensuring accurate and detailed financial records
- Managing multiple company cash flows and weekly payment runs
- Managing and overseeing the company s banking and borrowing arrangements
- Presentation of financial results and insights to the Board
- Playing a key role in formulating strategy
- Managing and overseeing the taxation affairs and liaising with external accounts when necessary
- Preparation/review of annual statutory accounts
- Tracking investor funding and calculation of interest
- Reviewing and authorising monthly payroll and administering pension scheme
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- 5 years experience in a senior financial management position
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience in financial modelling, including scenario and sensitivity-based analysis
- Experience in management cash flows
- Proven ability to simplify and present complex financial information to senior managers to aid decision-making across the group of companies
- Previous team management experience
