Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading data analytic clients! They are currently looking for an experienced Full Stack PHP Developer to join their team for a six-month contract.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Experience working in Agile Sprints
Backend development in PHP - (Laravel ideally).
Front End Development in Vue ideally but would also consider React Front End development experience.
Basic database experience - Ideally MySQL or SQL.
Basic understanding of Docker
AWS Cloud experience or Azure.
Experience writing your own tests in Cypress & Postman when required.
Experience building API's
Strong experience with Linux.
Good understanding of CI/CD.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
We are looking for someone with strong experience and interest in full stack development and who is keen to enter a hybrid work environment, joining an established development team based in our office in Cardiff Bay.
Our teams are collaborative, forward-thinking, and Agile.
In this role, you will join an established agile team whose focus is on developing our API and web-based Identity solutions, developing new features and maintaining the existing platform.
Developing and delivering features across the full stack (including use of modern PHP frameworks, Front End frameworks, and other tools).
Closely supporting the effective design of new features and solutions.
Contributing to the quality assurance effort, particularly through use of test automation tools (such as Cypress and Postman) and Continuous Integration tools (such as GitLab and GitHub).
Providing technical input and guidance to our cross-functional agile product development teams.
Working closely with the product owner and project management to deliver timely products and enhancements.
