Financial Controller

Job Description: The Financial Controller role involves overseeing the month-end process, preparing management accounts, and leading the annual audit for a well-established manufacturing company in Liverpool. Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the month-end process, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Leading and coordinating the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors
• Conducting detailed financial analysis, variance reporting
• Overseeing and improving product costing and manufacturing cost controls
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Ensuring full compliance with internal controls and group reporting standards
• Leading continuous improvements in financial processes and SAP improvement projects
• Management of a small team

• Strong financial management and accounting skills
