  • QBE applicants welcomed with relevant experience
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors beneficial but not essential
  • Hands-on, proactive approach
  • Ability to start immediately or on short notice (up to 4 weeks)

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + Benefits

We’re currently supporting a leading manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton in their search for a Financial Accountant to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is a backfill for a key team member who has been seconded to a major ERP implementation project.

We’re ideally looking for a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), but we are also open to experienced QBE applicants with a strong technical background in financial accounting.

The Role

As Financial Accountant, you’ll take ownership of a range of technical accounting tasks, working closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Group month-end reporting
  • Treasury management and cash forecasting
  • Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
  • Foreign exchange (FX) accounting
  • Transfer pricing compliance
  • Fixed asset accounting
  • R&D spend tracking and tax credit claims
  • Support with strengthening and embedding internal controls
