p>We are looking for Finance & Processing Advisors to provide support to customers and colleagues, with financial enquiries and requests about their loan account, as well as providing support to the loan product finance team.

What are we looking for:

  • Sociable, helpful and eager to provide excellent service to customers.
  • A good eye for detail, ensuring customer records are kept up to date and are accurate.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring defined processes are followed.
  • Keen to take responsibility for managing customer information in line with GDPR Experience of working with computer systems
  • This role involves processing customer loan documentation sent to us and dealing with these in accordance with our standard operating processes. Supporting our Customer Service colleagues when seeking support for customer enquires of a more technical financial nature.
  • Bookkeeping experience is needed, and general ledger experience is advantageous as the role also involves
    • Applying payments to customer loan accounts
    • Supporting our Customer Financial Assistance teams with accounts where customer is in financial difficulties (eg freezing interest, changing repayment schedule, managing arrears)
    • Responding to technical financial queries received from internal colleagues as well as other client teams
    • Completing regular General Ledger reconciliations eg cash movement.
    • Liaising with our client Finance team to provide trial balance and other required reconciliation data and reports.
  • A Team Player who enjoys collaborating with team mates to deliver that outstanding customer service together, and working together to identify continuous improvement ideas.
  • And through all this achieve core Key Performance Indicators.

Work Environment

The role is an office based one, but at the moment we're working in a hybrid environment, with some office-based working, but also some home- based working. Initial training will take place on site so we can make sure you get the best possible start and can meet your team-mates.

Our Finance and Processing team working hours are between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday and Saturday mornings. Shifts usually start, 8:00; 9:00 and 10:00 with a rotation for the Saturday.
