Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Officer for a Full time maternity cover position in a reputable school in Hull. This exciting opportunity is a year-long commitment, with a provisional end date of 20th December and the potential for extension in the future.

Position Details:

• Hours: Up to 37 hours per week
• Contract Type: Maternity Cover
• Salary: Scale Point 5, with payment scaling to 12.18 per hour
• Working Days: Monday to Thursday (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM), Friday (8:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
• Break: Includes a 30-minute break for lunch
• Term Time + 20 Days Position

As a Finance Officer, you will be entrusted with various crucial tasks, including:

• Managing the whole school credit card
• Recording and handling invoices
• Maintaining accurate records of school accounts
• Keeping a register of assets
• Overseeing responsibility for purchase orders

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Previous experience in financial administration positions
• Proficiency in using SAGE software
• Possession of a DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one
• At least two satisfactory references
• A comprehensive CV with full career history
