Our client is a Manufacturing company seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join their team on a 6 months FTContract in Burnley. As a Finance Manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, managing budgets, analysing data, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our company's growth and success.

Vacancy:

Ensure all reporting deadlines are delivered on time; monthly result, reforecasts, and annual budgets. Maintain strong financial controls through balance sheet reconciliations, project profitability reporting and co-ordination of external audits.

The role:

Accurate end reporting to deadlines

Assist with Annual Budgeting

Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Project profitability reporting

Provide all financial information to the Management Team when required.

Audit co-ordination

Prepare and present board reports.

Bank Reconciliations

Process monthly journals, accruals, and prepayments

Maintenance of Fixed Asset register and calculation of depreciation

Monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts

Calculation of monthly WIP

Calculation and payment of quarterly VAT

Produce Inter-group information and ensure that all accounts are reconciled.

Calculation of all inter-group recharges

Process payroll and ensure all payments to employees/HMRC and Pension are processed correctly.

Manage and mentor the Finance Team (2 people)

Manage the HR function and ensure compliance.

Accurate with high level of attention to detail

Deliver to tight deadlines and manage own workload.

Outstanding organisational skills and self-motivated

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent communicator and relationship builder across all levels of the business

Good knowledge of UK accounting and statutory requirements

Previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system also beneficial.
