Finance Integration & Controls Accountant

Summary: The Finance Integration & Controls Accountant role involves supporting statutory reporting and managing audits to ensure compliance with fiduciary duties for financial statements. The position requires collaboration with the Internal Controls Manager and various business units to manage compliance and controls for newly acquired entities. This is a 10-month hybrid contract with a focus on financial statement preparation and compliance reporting. The role is suited for a qualified accountant with industry experience and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Financial Statements for UK Legal entities under UK GAAP from US GAAP management accounts and financial records, including multi-currency consolidation.
• Coordinate financial data with corporate reporting processes and ensure timely availability of accurate data for financial statements.
• Manage Senior Accounting Officer compliance and reporting for newly acquired entities, ensuring controls documentation is appropriate and complete.
• Work with business units and Global Financial Services to implement recommendations.
• Report to the Senior Accounting Officer on compliance with SAO legislation.

Key Skills:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
• Previous industry experience is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to prioritize and manage large volumes of work and meet deadlines.
• Recent experience in implementing controls testing and documentation.
• Good working knowledge of accounting systems (ideally SAP).
• Working knowledge of UK tax compliance obligations for corporation tax, VAT, and employment taxes.
• Knowledge gained through testing as part of a broader audit role.
