The Finance Business Partner roles will be responsible for providing high quality financial support and constructive challenge to a diverse range of Budget Holders, activities, initiatives, and projects across the Council. 

Responsibilities include;

Liasing with budget holders and heads of services to deliver accounting services to Budget Holders

Building strong working relationships with key stakeholders, initiating and driving continuous improvement in service performance and efficiency

Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that robust financial controls are in place, and that financial risk is understood

Leading and developing a small customer-focussed Finance team

Assisting the Head of Financial Planning in the proactive review of Team activities

The successful candidate;

CCAB/CIMA Qualified Finance professional, or equivalent relevant experience

Proven business partnering approach with the ability to build influential relationships with non-finance

Ability to analyse complex financial information

Public Sector Finance experience desirable, and will also consider applicants from wider sectors
