Job Description
- Collaborating with budget holders to optimise financial performance.
- Providing financial analysis and insight to support strategic decision making.
- Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on financial trends and performance.
- Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
- Working closely with the Accounting & Finance team to deliver financial objectives.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
- Providing financial insights to the board to aid decision making
- Creating financial information and insights for the local council
