Job Description: The Finance Analyst RtR - Controlling role at DHL involves performing essential accounting processes for specific operations, including month-end reconciliations and reporting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accounting processes in scope for the respective site/customer, like month-end, reconciliations.
  • Regular engagement with site ops teams, Reporting team, BU FC's, and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes.
  • Build deep business knowledge for the customer/sites in scope to provide support for decision making.
  • Effectively maintain period-end and year-end closing schedules for the customer/sites in scope.
  • Adherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production at the site/customer level.
  • Provide regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution, and any escalations.
  • Deliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management.
  • Manage individual workflow, ensuring agreed deadlines are met.
  • Ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Any other purchasing or operational admin-related activities as required by the Controller or Manager.

Skills Required:

  • Strong Excel, pivot tables, V Lookups, and formulas.
  • Clear, effective communicator.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • 1-2 years finance experience.
  • Customer-facing experience.
  • Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Experience in accounting in a logistics or similar industry – desirable.

As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:
