p>Calling all Semi-Skilled personnel, are you looking for your next assignment!

If so, IRS Recruitment are pleased to be supporting our client to work in the Wallsend area on a long term. project until 2025 and beyond.

We would like to work with semi-skilled people with the right ability/aptitude and willingness to learn within our final assembly department.

Job Requirements

The requirements will be to do all the bolt-tightening/torque and tensioning, and aspects of final assembly alongside a team of already qualified workers.

On the job training will be given, as well as external courses to bring the you up to speed.

We require a good level of fitness (due to the requirements to access scaffolding and using fixed ladders).
Willingness to work at height due to proximity of Transition Pieces (TP s).
Willingness to learn and be trained by our experienced colleagues.

Relevant work experience in an oil and gas/Renewable industry environment is essential.

Ideal Requirements for training are below, either indate or expired certification will be considered.
Mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs)
Abrasive wheels
Forklift truck
Cherry Picker
IPAF Certification

PAYE Dayshift:

19.50 per hour - For the first 38 hours worked and approved.
25.35 per hour In excess of 38 hours worked and approved.
29.25 per hour Saturday hours worked and approved.
39.00 per hour Sunday and Bank Holiday hours worked and approved.

PAYE Backshift:

21.39 per hour - For the first 38 hours worked and approved.
27.81 per hour In excess of 38 hours worked and approved.
32.09 per hour Saturday hours worked and approved.
42.78 per hour Sunday and Bank Holiday hours worked and approved.
