About the role We are on the lookout for an Assistant Buyer to join our Online team on a 6 month fixed term contract. In this role you will be supporting the Online Commercial Team with the curation and planning for Online range, and processes linked to product for the F&F online range. You will be responsible for

  1. Support the Buying Manager with the curation and Buying the Online Range: Considering the importance of customer metrics in the curation process.
  2. Optimizing Stock and Range Assortment: Monitor sales, stock levels, and profitability to ensure the best assortment for online customers. Review market information and intel and make to support trading and range decisions. Collabrate with wider F&F online team to make trading decisions including online operations, marketing, trade planning and distribution & fulfilment teams to drive end to end process.
  3. Sample and product data management: Liaise with Marketing and Online teams to ensure all relevant content is available, including sample management for online ready images. Liaise with suppliers on samples needed for online images. Deliver online product enrichment is correct for online sale.
  4. Onsite Ranging and Planning: Support on all aspects of onsite ranging and planning. Support trade and content plan for online and work with relevant buying and merchansing teams for this information. Work with marketing to support trade plan. Align range optimization with retail activity. Coordinate responses across the team. Supporting with all aspects of the online critical paths, ensuring online range launch & product availability. Support with new launches and events.
  5. Support the management of the online product range by curating and purchasing items based on customer metrics: Utilize data insights to optimize stock availability, monitor sales, and ensure profitability. Collaborate with Marketing, Online and Distribution teams to provide relevant content. Lead onsite ranging and planning, aligning with retail activity. Coordinate responses across the team and maintain a strategic focus.
