Position Overview:
They are seeking a skilled Estimator with a strong background in fabrication and engineering to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in accurately assessing project costs, timelines, and resources to ensure the successful delivery of our projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed cost analysis for fabrication and engineering projects within the petrochemical sector.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to develop accurate project estimates.
- Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
- Identify potential risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures during the estimation process.
- Prepare comprehensive and competitive bids, proposals, and tender submissions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and market conditions.
- Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and presentations as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- experience in fabrication and engineering estimation, preferably within the petrochemical industry.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and equipment.
- Proficient in utilizing estimation software and tools (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD, MS Excel).
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
