We are currently recruiting an Oracle EPM Architect for a large consultancy client of ours, with the end client you will be working for being one of the largest, most reputable banks in the UK with a global reach.
The contract on offer will be for an initial 6 months, with potential extensions. The role will be predominantly remote working with occasional travel to site (dependant on where you are based).
The rate for this role is going to be negotiable but will definitely be INSIDE IR35. We are happy to pay market rate for this type of role and have a discussion regarding pay rates.
Your new role
Sitting in requirement gathering sessions with senior finance colleagues to be able to understand their processes and creating process flows and data flows that document their business process and explores equivalent Oracle EPM designs.
Managing the end to end architecture and design for the Oracle EPM applications for the finance function and its connections with the peripheral systems.
You'll be responsible for building architectural solutions, providing architecture guidance to other technical leads and support the build out of the larger bank wide technology architecture.
Delivering performance optimisations for some of the largest Oracle EPM systems in the world with hierarchy members running into more than 250,000 and data running into hundreds of GBs.
Driving Innovation within technology team and Dev Ops adoption (Agile and tools)
Working with the wider Architecture and change teams to ensure that build strategies are in line with permit to build model as per Risk Finance technology roadmap.
Lead the technical management, analysis, design and architecture for new requirements from business and recommend changes in line with best practises and optimise performance/use of the Hyperion technologies.
Accountable for design documentation, knowledge sharing and transition to Operations teams/RTB teams
Recommend robust change management process to ensure effective management and delivery of new changes and enhancements.
Effectively managing team assignments on day to day basis following agile methodologies.
Stakeholder Management with senior colleagues in the finance function.
Regular status updates to business and technical stakeholders.
Experience of project management processes with an excellent knowledge of the project life cycle process with specific demonstrable knowledge of agile methodologies of delivery.
Ability to step back from situations and look to improve processes and efficiency.
Ability to deliver on time (as an individual and a team) at a consistent professional level.
Ability to find imaginative and practical solutions to make well-informed decisions.
