Great opportunity for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to be involved at the ground floor of a significant three year 30m+ investment program.

The client is a successful food manufacturer who are committed improving their operations.

This is a 12 18 month fixed term contract.

Reporting into the Head of Engineering you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of projects within the business.  You must be able to effectively manage multiple projects at once while still providing clear direction to team members.

You will have strong communication skills in order to coordinate with clients or other stakeholders throughout the process, with a mechanical engineering background and ideally with good knowledge of design and manufacturing processes.

The Candidate:

• Significant Engineering Project Management experience in either Food Manufacturing, FMCG or Pharmaceutical environments.


• Ideally you will hold a formal project management qualifications such as Prince 2 , APM or PMI and you will have a formal engineering qualification minimum level HND / HNC.


• Applicants will have strong management and leadership skills and you will have excellent communication and reporting skills.


• Good understanding of HSE legislation, including CDM.


• Strong influencing and change management skills.


• Leadership skills, proven track record of leading, engaging, coaching, mentoring etc.


• Continuous improvement mind-set.


• Strong communication skills with experience of building relationships and working with all levels of stakeholders, with the ability to coach, advise and drive a zero-accident culture.


• Producing key documents needed for sign-off by leadership teams.

The client will need someone to start within 1 month.
