Reed Further Education are looking for a lecturer to teach Maths for Engineering to students studying on level 2 GCSE courses at a college in Longbridge Birmingham. The students are 14-16 years old and need a lecturer who can motivate them and manage their behaviour.
The role is temporary ongoing and requires 16 hours of teaching per week. The timetable is as follows: Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 9:00 - 13:15

Rate: 26p/h - 35p/h including holiday pay
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in delivering Maths or Engineering courses to GCSE level or equivalent
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS)
- The ability to plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs and interests of the learners
- The ability to manage challenging behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance
