About Our Client
Michael Page is working with working with a leading Global FMCG Manufacturing business to an Engineering Manager (FTC) for its site in Greater Manchester. This organisation supplies have c.20 sites worldwide, supplying its product to major retailers throughout the world.
Job Description
Day to day responsibilities for the Engineering Manager (FTC) will include:
- Manage, lead and mentor a team of c45 through various direct reports
- Ownership and implementation of Engineering improvement across assets
- Ownership of Engineering KPI's- Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People
- Drive continuous improvement agenda across site
- Drive the site reliability agenda including completion root cause analysis (RCA) processes and drive / deliver the agreed actions to deliver key maintenance KPI's
- Identify effective capital expenditure opportunities and execute on time and within budget
- Development of engineering team covering training, development and identification of skill gaps
- Ensure Quality and Health & Safety processes are adhered to and prioiritised
