Job Description: Engineering Change Manager
Location: Glasgow

Job Duties:- Manage and oversee all aspects of engineering change processes within the organisation
- Develop and implement effective change management strategies and plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and prioritise engineering change requests
- Ensure that changes are properly documented, tracked, and communicated to relevant stakeholders
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of engineering changes on project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure smooth execution of change activities
- Provide guidance and support to project teams in implementing approved engineering changes
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with engineering changes
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with change management processes and procedures
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practises in engineering change management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in change management within an engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in change management within an engineering environment
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and processes
- Proficiency in change management methodologies and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Experience in risk assessment and mitigation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Professional certification in change management
- Prior experience in the military and defence industry
Working Conditions:
- This is a contract position, expected to work Full-Time hours
- Work will primarily be conducted in an office environment
- Occasional travel may be required to visit suppliers or project sites
