Position: Energy Analyst - SAP 



Salary:  20,000 - 35,000



Location: Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire



Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Description:



Position Overview: As an Energy Analyst you will play a pivotal role in helping us develop sustainable and energy-efficient solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our engineering team to analyse energy consumption, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to reduce energy usage and costs. Your insights will be crucial in driving the success of our projects and promoting environmental responsibility.



Key Responsibilities:




  1. Energy Data Analysis: Collect and analyse energy consumption data from various sources, including buildings, equipment, and systems.

  2. Energy Audits: Conduct comprehensive energy audits of client facilities to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements.

  3. Performance Modelling: Utilize modelling software to simulate energy performance and assess the impact of proposed solutions.

  4. Recommendations: Provide recommendations for energy-efficient upgrades, retrofits, and renewable energy integration.

  5. Cost-Benefit Analysis: Prepare cost-benefit analyses to demonstrate the financial viability of proposed energy-saving initiatives.

  6. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with energy-related regulations and standards to ensure compliance in project designs.

  7. Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to understand their energy goals and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs.

  8. Reporting: Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.



Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets.

  • Knowledge of energy modelling software and tools.

  • Familiarity with building systems, HVAC, and electrical systems.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience in energy analysis, preferably in a similar industry.

  • Knowledge of energy codes, standards, and regulations.
