Job Description: The Employee Relations Advisor role at Expleo involves providing expert support in employee relations matters to ensure fairness and compliance within a fast-paced business environment. The position requires managing a complex caseload, offering guidance to employees and managers, and building relationships with stakeholders. This contract role is based in Coventry and is set to last until June 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied and often complex caseload of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance cases.
  • Provide timely, empathetic, and legally sound guidance to employees and line managers throughout case processes.
  • Support line managers in chairing and managing investigations, absence reviews, disciplinary and grievance hearings, including dismissals and appeals.
  • Apply a coaching style to build capability within the business, equipping managers to handle ER issues confidently and effectively.
  • Conduct risk-based analysis to recommend appropriate and proportionate case outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure aligned, pragmatic, and business-focused HR advice.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation in line with organisational policy.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of managing a broad range of employee relations issues in a complex business environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle competing priorities and manage a high-volume caseload.
  • Confident and professional communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels.
  • Customer-oriented approach with a focus on service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to apply critical thinking and logical judgement to case resolution.
