Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services

My client is an established global manufacturer of HVAC plant room installations supplying throughout EMEA from their UK site. They have an excellent brand and employer reputation due to teamwork and valuing their employees' contributions.

The company has many interesting projects in the pipeline so now recruiting to meet customer demand. It is a great time to join as further senior opportunities will arise with the growth of the team.

We invite applications from experienced Electrical Engineers with a background in; building services / M&E ideally from either an M&E Contractor or Building Services Consultancy background.

The Role

  • Electrical design of LV electrical layout requirements for multiple simultaneous projects
  • Equipment selections and design calculations
  • Assist with project planning
  • Maintenance of relevant regulatory/legislative compliance
  • Specification of compliant parts and practices

Hours: 38 hours, flexible working between 0930-1530, lunchtime finish Fridays

You

  • An experienced Electrical Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer
  • Likely to have worked in an M&E Contractor or Building Services Consultancy
  • Previous experience in electrical services
  • 18th Edition qualified
  • Electrical Design skills essential
  • HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering
  • AutoCAD experience/qualification
  • Amtech design calculation software experience or similar preferable
  • Driving licence
