We have an excellent opportunity for an EC&I ENGINEER.
The role is primarily based at one of our specialist providers premises in Bolton.
There will initially be a requirement to be based in Reading in Berkshire for a short period whilst familiarisation takes place with the needs of the project and to meet the team.
There will also be on-going occasional visits to Reading as required, and occasional visits to sub suppliers to support manufacture.
The role can be outside IR35 (assessments are done on a case by case basis)
ROLE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design deviation support for design and manufacturing (TQ s, concessions etc.)
Support production and Review of Design/ Manufacturing/ test documentation (FAT procedures, ITP s etc.)
Onsite oversight of manufacturing and FAT s
Document review and support (O&M manuals, detailed design documentation reviews etc.)
Support Supplier CE Marking process.
Tracking Technical Query embodiment in the design.
Liaison with Package Manager to ensure Design deliverables are being prioritised.
Liaison with on Site Supply Chain Engineering Management to enable supplier Engineering delivery.
Liaison with Company Technical Authorities for Design reviews and deliverable checking.
Assisting Supplier Construction teams with engineering challenges and bottlenecks.
Become Familiar with the scope and scale of the doors project including the quality requirements.
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have a strong understanding and experience of managing engineering requirements and be a self -starter.
Have the ability to resolve technical deviations and issues against requirement sets and work collaboratively with the client.
Previous site experience in delivering projects to programme.
Promotes a culture of innovation, best practice, and continuous improvement. and have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Be confident to be client facing to deliver comms and reporting
SC Level Security Clearance is required for this role and you must be capable of gaining higher level DV Clearance. UK Sole Nationality is required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Hold an ICE/IMechE accredited degree
Incorporated/ Chartered Membership of ICE/IMechE (or working towards)
Equivalent vocational training and experience is desirable.
