Job Title: Early Years Educator

Position Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team in Camden, London. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality early years education, fostering a secure, safe, and stimulating environment for children's development. The successful candidate will lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a high-quality EYFS curriculum, incorporating daily, weekly, and termly planning to meet children's needs and interests.
- Operate as a key worker, taking responsibility for a group of children and supporting smooth transitions from home to the center and from the center to school.
- Promote children's development within a secure, safe, and stimulating environment, adhering to good practice curriculum guidance appropriate to the ages and stages of children's development.
- Provide appropriate physical care, including washing, toileting, feeding, dressing, comforting, and administering medication.
- Organise outings for children's interest, education, and enjoyment, ensuring safety is a top priority.
- Work in partnership with parents, conduct home visits as part of the child's induction, maintain regular contact, hold meetings, and present reports as needed.
- Be responsible for the assessment of children's overall development, conducting observations, recording achievements, and maintaining developmental records to a high standard.
- Actively collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of staff, fostering an environment where children's development is prioritised and positive relationships flourish.
- Liaise with outside agencies and professionals, contributing to relevant meetings on and off-site.
- Work with due regard to Child Protection procedures, reporting any matters of concern to the Head.
- Effectively manage children's behavior in line with procedural guidance and implement planned interventions for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and additional needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in an early years setting.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Understanding and commitment to anti-discriminatory practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
