The Role As a Drainage Engineer, you’ll attend domestic and commercial sites across the SO postcode region (plus nearby areas if needed) to carry out investigations, unblock drains, perform repairs and deliver long-lasting solutions. Jobs are typically high value, booked in as free-of-charge quotes – giving you time to build rapport and win customer trust. You’ll use your technical knowledge to diagnose faults, resolve issues and recommend further works where needed.

You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Unblocking drains using high-pressure water jetting (HPWJ)
  • Diagnosing and resolving drainage faults, minor excavations and patch lining
  • Advising customers and quoting on-site in a clear, trustworthy manner
  • Using CCTV equipment to carry out surveys
  • Working within a tight-knit team to deliver excellent service

What We’re Looking For Experience in a reactive or repair drainage engineer role Ability to unblock drains using rods or HPWJ equipment A confidence communication style, with a real passion for providing exceptional customer service. Full UK manual driving licence, held for 2+ years, with no more than 6 points Right to work in the UK without sponsorship Comfortable working alone and outdoors, with a customer-first attitude High-pressure water jetting certificate or experience Experience in patch lining or minor plumbing repairs

Location & Hours Location: Field-based across Petersfield and the PO postcode area Hours: Monday-Friday, including occasional on-call rota and overtime opportunities Office Setup: You’ll report into the local franchise team with strong support from head office – plus regular face-to-face interaction with the Regional Development Manager
