p>Job Title: Domestic Gas EngineerSalary: 30 an hour8am - 4pm Monday - Thursday/8am - 3:30pm Friday

My client is looking for a Domestic Gas Engineer in Manchester. ACS and Gas Safe Card is required and ideally with cookers and fires training, and if you have your own van, we can offer immediate starts and a mileage allowance.

Main Duties include:

  • To carry out servicing of gas appliances including boilers, fires and cookers in a timely and safe manor.
  • To carry out general breakdowns and have the ability to achieve 1st time fix.
  • Be part of an on-call Rota to cover OOH breakdowns as required.
  • The technician will have advanced technical knowledge in more than one skill or technology area - preferably mechanical and electrical.

Qualifications or Required Experience:

  • Domestic Gas ACS Elements CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1, CMDDA1

  • Unvented hot water Elements U/VHW Water Regulations 1999 Code WR1.

  • City and Guilds Craft Certificate and Advanced Craft Certificate in Plumbing and Heating
