Job Description :
The primary skill we need is for Complex Aggregation is DMN (BPMN is secondary, not essential) and the ability to create/help business create rules using DMN and then help with deploying the rules and test the rules preferably via test automation. Camunda is very similar to Drools so if someone claims to be good at using Camunda, I will expect them to be good at DMN and hence Drools.
Exams Processing Transformation is looking to automate aggregation rules for results and awards. Architectural steer has been to conduct a PoC using DROOLS and then build out environments to productionise a solution. Supporting existing teams with skills as listed:
- 3+ years of BPMN and DMN development across any workflow and rules engines such as Appian, Alfresco, Camunda, Drools, JBPM, BRMN, PEGA, PIPEFY
- Experience with BPMN 2.0 and DMN
- Hands-on experience in implementing an enterprise-level application using a BPMN tool
- Java development toolkit experience with Drools and any rules engine
- Working knowledge of basic programming constructs, JSON Structure, APIs
- Very good understanding of the no-code/low-code platforms
- Good learner with good communication skills
- Ability to learn new skills if required
Activities:
- Advise the team on best approach
- Develop the rules, and workflow in the chosen application
- Manage rules across the environments
- Support the team building out environments and configurations
- Support the Delivery Manager establishing a delivery plan
- Support end users in the application of DMN to business rules
- Provide documentation as required
- Provide KT at the end of the engagement
- Collaborate and help the test lead in testing/test automation
