Digital IT Project Manager

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Digital IT Project Manager, and the role comes with a contract day rate of 592.48. Inside IR35. Hybrid role, typically 1-2 days per week on site. This contract is initially for 6 months and has potential for renewal.

As a Digital IT Project Manager, you will play an important role in the delivery of a large HR technology global implementation programme, working closely with technical colleagues, business partners and third parties. You will work at the centre of an ambitious and dynamic technology team that focuses on delivering value.

In your first few weeks in this Project Manager role, you can expect to:

• Lead the successful delivery of projects, through identifying, planning and coordinating tasks, ensuring priorities, interdependencies and resources are managed effectively
• Proactively plan and optimise resources, supported by the Resource Management team, in line with business priorities
• Manage third parties and solution integration partners
• Work with the Product Manager and Scrum Master to ensure required processes are followed to ensure continuity of service of the affected products
• Ensure that the project is managed to realise business benefits and that stakeholders remain informed of progress throughout the engagement.

• In-depth knowledge and demonstrable application of Agile project management practices, as well as the ability to blend them together with traditional project management in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
• Good understanding of software development life cycle models
• Proven experience of complex stakeholder management, successfully balancing communications and expectations of stakeholders with different views.
