Digital Content Designer - Local Authority

Working hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 hours p/w
Pay rate: 300 per day
As Digital Content Designer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing communications and content for service users as well as developing our website and working closely with HR deliver our internal recruitment marketing needs. Moreover, you will research best practice and explore communication channels to encourage meaningful engagement with the Trust and local communities. Your primary responsibility will be to create user-centric and informative content, aligned to our objectives and meets the needs of our diverse audience. Duties will include:
- Develop the Trust's digital marketing and communication channels, holding responsibility for the content plan, working to deliver and feeding recommendations into communication and content strategy.
- Content creation and promotion through social media, email campaigns, and other channels to increase reach and engagement with the public.
- Create engaging, user-centric content that is considered and appropriate within this setting, enabling access to service and clear signposting to other support to manage demand.
- Develop the recruitment site as an integral part of the Trusts website and promote job opportunities.
Skills and experience:
- Experience within a similar role, possibly within the public sector.
- Understands various communication channels including social media.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), strong knowledge of HTML and Search Engine Optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to create visually compelling content using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset to interpret web analytics data and drive content strategy improvements.
