DevSecOps / Tooling Engineer - SC Cleared - Surrey - 700 a day

You will join a global IT Consultancy delivering digital transformation to a government client. You will join a well-established Agile delivery project supporting an operational system with close collaboration with the client team. The system uses a variety of database and software systems and tools that are in the process of modernisation. This will address hardware obsolescence and include adoption of the latest cloud and DevSecOps technologies. This is an opportunity to apply your skills in specifying, configuring and maintaining development and operational systems.

Working pattern:

The role is full-time on site in Surrey

Your clearance:

You will hold current, active SC Clearance

Your skills and experience:

• Comprehensive understanding of DevSecOps concepts, advantages and challenges in its implementation.
• Experience of implementing DevSecOps processes, including:
  • Selection of tools such as orchestration, automated test and security scanning, application deployment
  • Definition of infrastructure including physical and virtual infrastructure, including infrastructure as code
  • Deployment, maintenance and administration of tools.
• Experience of containerisation in design and deployment of container orchestration software
• Experience of supporting users including developers, testers and other stakeholders in the DevSecOps environments.
• Ability to explain the benefits of the DevSecOps solutions to stakeholders including developers, test teams, clients and managers.
