Roles and Responsibilities: The DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role that combines engineering responsibilities with operational tasks within the operating model. Key engineering skills and responsibilities include:

• Development and deployment of AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Building and managing Jenkins Continuous Deployment (CD) Pipelines.

Qualifications and Requirements: The ideal candidate should have strong DevOps experience with the following AWS technologies:

• EC2, EKS (Kubernetes), RDS, Route 53, VPC networking, S3.
• Experience with DevOps tools/practices such as Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, Docker, Helm.
• Understanding of the management and implementation of security policies, including IAM, encryption, and network security.

Desired Skills and Experience: Candidates with the following additional skills and experience will be highly considered:

• Experience with frontend scripting languages such as Java and Python.
• Familiarity with other areas of the product lifecycle, including requirements gathering and service design.
• Proficiency in configuring monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Note: This is a contract position based in Croydon, with on-site presence required once or twice a month.
