Harvey Nash's client is recruiting for a Developer on a 6 month contract. They are looking for an experienced developer with solid commercial experience of building REST APIs using Spring Boot in an OpenShift environment and web applications to accelerate the clients delivery of new and improved digital services to their customers.

Main Responsibilities

Development and support of the technical solutions for:

• RLP Paper Discharges - enhance the Settle tooling to support the processing of paper discharge applications submitted via 'RLP' service.
• LRAF Paper Discharges - enhance the Settle tooling to support the processing of paper discharge applications submitted via 'LRAF' service.
• Automate RLP Paper Discharges - enhance the Settle tooling to automate processing of paper discharge applications submitted via 'RLP' service.
• Complex Dealings - enhance Settle tooling to support the processing of more complex 'Dealing with Whole' Deed Types.

Essential Skills

Significant commercial experience with the following technology:

• Java 11/17
• Spring Boot microservices
• Spring security and OAuth2
• JavaScript UI frameworks, specifically React
• OpenShift
• RabbitMQ
• Elasticsearch
• CI/CD tooling including Jenkins pipelines and Docker
