We need a strong Desktop Support Analyst for this role, as the successful candidate will be the sole IT person on-site. You will be working with a wider team, who are based, in other locations, but you will be the first point of contact for all technology issues.
Our client demands a high level of Customer Focus for all users, whether they are on-site or remote workers.You must be able to provide support activities, including install and upgrades, remote and hands-on support.
You will work closely with the Service Desk, the Support Lead(s) and on-site peers to ensure support is provided in a timely and very professional manner.
The initial contract will be to the end of June and is then expected to renew. It will in INSIDE IR35.
Key Skills:-
Good understanding of Microsoft Windows 10,
Good understanding of Mobile Technologies: iPad, iPhone, Android
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory (quest).
ITIL Certification
Duties to include:-
Provide hands-on support for all aspects of IT, Telephony and Mobility for 125 users in Bournemouth.
Work with the on-site team to ensure a seamless, coordinated approach to client support at all levels.
Responsibility for daily and weekly administration of systems including backups, daily checks, user administration etc.
Administration and maintenance of the office telephony system.
Familiarity with in-house systems and IT infrastructure.
Liaising with third party support providers when required.
Escalate incidents where necessary within the infrastructure team and to IT Manager
Participating in team projects that enhance the quality or efficiency of IT support.
Monitor and update ITSM tools and processes.
Monitor and maintain asset database for UK and Ireland.
