Job Title: Database Administrator - Azure Migration
Location: Remote UK - Cardfiff once a month would be beneficial in the office
Salary/Rate: Up to 689 per day Inside IR35
Start Date: 15/01/24
Job Type: 6 Month Contract

Company Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading data analytics clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Database Administrator to join their team for a six-month contract.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

Databases: recent "PRODUCTION" experience of DBA on cloud and non-cloud databases.

Should have experience on working with cross discipline teams - devops, support, app dev etc.

Any level of cloud architecture experience

Looking for a specialist MySQL DBA with Migration experience from on-prem to Azure Cloud.

Migration experience to AWS Aurora then to Azure cloud.

Strong Terraforms experience is required.

Data Storage experience is very nice to have

Enterprise level experience is required

The aim is to have no downtime during the migration.

Five TB of data to be migrated.
