Job Description:

Harvey Nash’s public sector client is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the trunk road network. Our Road Asset Management Plan (RAMP) sets out what we do to deliver the best possible service with the resources available.

In accordance with the above, the Asset Management Team is currently developing a new cloud-based Asset Management Performance System (AMPS). The new system (and its associated service) will support the Asset Management Team in the delivery of the RAMP and its other asset management responsibilities.

Main Duties:

Communications and Engagement

You will build and maintain excellent relationships with AMPS team members and be comfortable presenting suggestions, plans and designs in a clear, concise and credible manner

Essential Skills & Experience:

• In depth experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack:
  • Azure Synapse Analytics;
  • Azure Datawarehouse;
  • Azure SQL Database;
  • Power BI Development;
  • ETL Development (Azure Data Factory/SSIS).
• Experience in gathering, analysing, designing and delivering requirements for data acquisition, engineering and reporting from stakeholders

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in greenfield development.
• Experience of Analysis Services.
• Experience of Working to Scrum/Agile Methodology
