My global retail client are looking for a skilled Data Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of identifying, mapping and driving data and business change as a result of the Supply Chain transformation.

You will be part of the Data & Analytics team working closely with the Supply Chain project team to enable this transformation.

The role involves discovery and understanding of the current use of Supply Chain data from the Data Warehouse by business users, identifying gaps and optimisation opportunities to build a new Supply Chain Analytics system in the context of a new ERP system being implemented by the client.

You will help identify, translate, document, and communicate the functional, technical and data requirements from business and technical teams throughout the discovery, PoC, design & implementation to UAT, training phases, dealing with high-level stakeholders in a business-critical, fast-moving environment.

Strong knowledge of Supply Chain domain within a Retail setting

Hands-on experience with a Data Warehouse/Data Mart with ability to confidently query data, investigate and map lineage from data sources to reports and metrics.

Hands-on experience with Data migration of an ERP System (preferably Supply Chain) in the context of delivering Data & Analytics out of it and maintaining business continuity for the Data Warehouse deliverables (ie. Reporting, data models, etc.)

Track record in defining, analysing and documenting business and technical requirements (user stories) working closely with enterprise & domain architects, and data users from the business.

Ability to write clear business documentation, such as: business processes, technical specifications, solution designs, report wireframes and training documents.

Ability to perform impact analysis of data changes from upstream source system on the landing and downstream data warehouse layers.
