Job Title: BI and Data Graduate

Contract: 24 months Business Graduate Programme

Main Job Purpose:

As a BI and Data Graduate at Altrad Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of business intelligence solutions using Microsoft PowerBi. Join a dynamic team that operates within the Agile Scrum Development methodology and helps drive excellence through effective system use.

Role Level - Duties and Responsibilities:

Specific Duties & Responsibilities - BI

• Develop Altrad BI Solution Architecture, Replication Warehouse, and secure datasets using the Microsoft application stack.
• Create and evolve secure datasets for key users, supporting them in producing their own reports.
• Test and modify new datasets and reports to ensure reliable operation and avoid disruptions.
• Resolve data integrity, quality, and robustness challenges with legacy/system data for quality and transformation reporting.
• Develop and update BI process maps forming the basis of the system architecture and configuration.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drive excellence through effective and efficient system use.
• Understand and document business requirements over the short, medium, and longer term.
• Consult with end users, key users, and process owners to ensure functionality meets evolving business requirements.
• Provide seamless 1st to 4th Line support based on operational demand.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
• Develop and deliver training, materials, support, and advice to key users to enhance their experience within the system suite.
• Assist in the provision and support of developed 'low code' applications based on group architecture.
• Maintain confidentiality with sensitive data/information.
• Build and maintain workflows and process automation.
• Support other Business Systems Analysts and leads during resource-intensive project phases.

Key Skills:

Essential

• Experience in a similar or related role with reporting systems.
• Relevant degree or qualification in business analytics.
• Strong technical acumen, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to an excellence culture.
• Understanding of GDPR and good practices in complex data management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with varying stakeholders.
• Pragmatic approach, balancing ideals with practical business needs.
• Ability to thrive in a complex, rapidly changing, and demanding globally integrated business environment.
• Experience with reporting tools such as PowerBi, SQL, Data warehouse, and ETL solutions.

Desired (but not essential)

• Experience with Dynamics Navision, iTrent, SharePoint Online Office 365.
