About This Role

I am currently recruiting for a Data Analyst to join my client based in Glasgow City Centre. This is a 12 month contract initially. You will enjoy a flexible working approach, details to be agreed if invited to interview. The salary for this role will range from 26,000 to 30,000 DOE.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates from an engineering, mathematical, finance or scientific background, who are comfortable working with data at an intermediate level. Likewise, if you are an experienced Data Analyst who is looking for a new opportunity to join a leading financial services organistion, then this could be for you!

The purpose of this role is to support a busy department with all aspects of data that will include the collation, analysis, and presentation of data to assist streamline processes that will support the operational aims and goals within the organisation.

Skills Required

Excellent Time Management and attention to detail

Experience of close analysis of data sources

The ability to create reports to to give insight and predictions to the wider business

Excellent communication skills

Expertise in data visualisation, visual grammar, report generation using visualisation suites

Strong mathematics skills

Understanding of relational database structure and queries

Knowledge of statistics and use of statistical packages

Experience Required

Qualified at degree level in a computer science, mathematics, physics or similar quantitative field, or equivalent industry experience

Previous experience in a MI/reporting delivery role will be preferable Experience as a Data Analyst preferred
