• Credit Risk Impairment Manager
• City of London or Milton Keynes - 2 days a week onsite, 1 of which will be Milton Keynes
• 6 month contract
• Inside of IR35

The Credit Risk Impairment manager is a senior individual within the Provision and Forecasting team responsible for the management of Retail or Corporate Impairment stock.

Key activities include but are not limited to:
monthly impairment reporting; review and challenge of the existing suite of IFRS 9 models; development and maintenance of analytical dashboards and MI; day to day management of up to 4 direct reports

Key responsibilities are:

• Oversee model execution to produce ECL model output
• Review and challenge of the model output.
• On-going maintenance of existing post model adjustments and pro-active identification of new PMAs
• Development of analytics dashboard and MI reports
• Deputising for the Head of Credit Risk Impairment on senior committees.
• Active engagement with other risk areas such as forecasting, portfolio management, collections etc.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Extensive Risk Manager with Capital Impairment Experience
• Preferable to have experience working within the portfolio allocated (Mortgages, Retail Unsecured or Corporate)
• A good understanding of financial analysis, planning and modelling.
• Understanding of the various stages of the impairment under IFRS 9.
• SAS experience is essential.
