Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a large public sector organisation to recruit a Costing Accountant to join their team on an initial 3-6 month interim basis. The client offers hybrid working and a day rate of  200 - 300 per day via an umbrella company.  

Role:

• Lead in the production of all areas of costing including Service Line Reporting, Reference Costs and other statutory returns


• Successfully manage financial and non-financial data and information


• Effectively communicate information to large groups of staff, including; senior management, divisional and support unit teams and external parties


• Responsible for the annual reference cost submissions


• Develop clear and detailed timetables to enable the production of periodic service line reports and annual reference cost information allowing sufficient time for quality assurance reviews


• Responsible for oversight and understanding of the requirements for the system set up and configuration of the organisation s costing system

Person:

• Previous experience working within a costing team


• Public sector experience


• Strong system skills


• Knowledge of patient-level costing
