Contract Systems Engineer

£65 - 90 per hour (DOE)

iO Associates have partnered with a Defence client in Bristol, in the recruitment of multiple Contract Systems Engineers.

They have just been awarded a 6-year contract to deliver Military satellite communication systems into the MoD and thus looking for a variety of Systems Specialisms (covering design/assurance/ integration etc).

Because this is a 6-year project - the contract is highly likely to extend beyond the initial 6 months, if both parties are happy to do so!

The role itself will involve (but not limited to):

• Delivering solutions within the MILSATCON domain
• Provide knowledge on satellite modems, Network Management Systems and IP Networking
• Delivery on the full systems life cycle (from requirements through to integration and assurance)

To be considered, the skillset required is:

• In depth systems Engineering experience
• Previous experience working on communication systems on complex defence or telecommunication related projects.
• MILSATCOM or COMSAT but not essential

Please note, you must be eligible to obtain SC clearance as this is a UK eyes only project. You do not have to have active clearance as the client can put you through the process!
