Contract Software Project Manager

300p/d - 400p/d Inside IR35

6 months initial contract

Waterbeach, Cambridge (Hybrid with 2 days in office per week)

A prestigious retail client based in Waterbeach, Cambridge are looking for a talented Project Manager with some Business Analysis experience to join the team to support a number of ongoing and new projects.

We are ideally looking for candidates with experience working in a retail or E-commerce industry who has a minimum of three years experience project managing software projects (preferably .Net), Magento and MS Nav would be a big advantage but not essential.

Key skills:

• At least three years commercial experience as a Software Project Manager (any experience liaising with offshore teams would be advantageous).
• Some business analysis experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside the IT team to help progress current change and system implementation projects through to completion.
• Take ownership of the programme plan and assist with delivering new initiatives.
• Communicate with stakeholders the status of the programme.
• Take part in quality assuring new deliveries by defining and executing high level user acceptance tests and requesting releases.
