Contract FPGA Engineer

60-70 per hour (OUTSIDE IR35)

12 Months (Initially)

Edinburgh / Hybrid (3 days per week on site + options to work from other offices across the UK)

Must have an Active SC

iO Associates has partnered with a Defence consultancy in the recruitment of multiple FPGA Engineers.

The role will involve supporting the client in delivering a specialist range of Electronic Systems for the MoD.

The skill set required is:

• Ability to complete Firmware (FPGA) designs and documentation in accordance with design process guidelines (based on industry standard DO-254).
• Skilled in using Mentor Graphics FPGA design toolset (QuestaSim, Precision Synthesis).
• Skilled in using Xilinx Vivado toolset.
• Able to work in collaboration with other Firmware (FPGA) design engineers within the project.

Active SC is required for this contract with both UK and UK Dual Nationals considered.

Due to the nature of the role, they require 3 days on-site working per week, and you can attend any of their UK sites to do this, however the preference is Edinburgh.
