CAD CAM Programmer

EMBS Engineering is working in close partnership with a reputable precision engineering company that specialises in the manufacture of complex machined components for high profile customers across the globe.

Due to an influx in new orders, our client is in the market for a CAD CAM Programmer to join the business and support a number of manufacturing requirements.

Successful applicants need to be able to demonstrate:

• Strong Manufacturing Engineering background - 5 years minimum
• Vast CNC machining experience therefore fully conversant with modern manufacturing techniques
  
  
  
  • Able to generate and prove out CNC programs for a range of machining centres, including 4 & 5 axis machining centres
  
  
• Working knowledge and experience of CAD-CAM software
  
  
  
  • Autodesk, Powermill, SolidCAM, Hypermill, Fusion 360, Siemens NX or is preferable but other software will be considered
  • Able to produce and validate CNC programs
  
  
• Understanding / use of Vericut software 
• Exposure to multi-axis machines
• Experience working closely with / machining precision metallic components
• Ability to perform reverse engineering of existing programs

In return the client is offering:

• 35.00-40.00 ph inside IR35
• 3 month contract with the potential to be extended 
• Days with an early finish on a Friday
• 37 hours per week
