Job Title: Content Designer - Families Product Team

Are you a talented Content Designer looking for a new opportunity to make a meaningful impact? We have an exciting opening for a Content Designer to join a Families Product Team at a local authority in Camden. This is a 2-month contract position with a hybrid working arrangement, offering a daily rate of 500.
Key Responsibilities:
As a dedicated Content Designer, you will work closely with the Families Product Team to enhance the content and user experience of our Families site. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Creating new Families content in compliance with government guidelines.
- Iterating existing content based on data and research.
- Designing and building new forms to improve user interaction.
Key Milestones:
- Contribute to the development of content strategy for service transformation.
- Assist in creating the design system, including editorial guidance, templates, and style patterns.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Lead Content Designer.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in content design, particularly for digital products and services within a local authority
- Familiarity with government guidelines and regulations.
- Ability to work on multiple product teams concurrently.
- Strong understanding of design and accessibility principles.
- Previous experience in creating content formats, including video, animation, and photography.
- Excellent collaboration skills, working with product designers, user researchers, and developers.
