Job Description: Applications are invited for a 10 PA Consultant Dermatologist position at West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds, aimed at providing clinical dermatology services. The role involves outpatient services in general and tumour dermatology, along with participation in teledermatology and inpatient consultations. This is a replacement role within a team of five consultants, emphasizing collaboration and high-quality patient care. Interviews are scheduled for August 14, 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient services in general and tumour dermatology.
- Conduct urgent suspect cancer clinics one to two times a month.
- Perform local anaesthetic surgery, one to two lists a week.
- Participate in the teledermatology service.
- Provide dermatology advice to medical and surgical inpatients.
- Participate in the ward referral rota once to twice weekly.
- Supervise and give clinical advice to dermatology specialist nurses and clinical assistants.
- Support Addenbrookes SpRs who conduct a weekly clinic.
Skills Required:
- Specialized knowledge in dermatology.
- Experience in outpatient and inpatient dermatology services.
